MARINA FIELD TRIP REPORT IN DUTUNGAN ISLAND AND PAPUTO BEACH
 2D 1N 2019

Assalamualaikum.

Don't forget to be happy :)

Welcome to my first blog. My name is Tasmiati. I am a student majoring in the 3rd semester Tourism Travel Business Makassar Polytechnic of Makassar. Here I want to share my Marine Travel experience with my friends on Dutungan Island, Barru Regency and Paputo Beach Pare-Pare City . On 10 to 11 October 2019 me and my classmates traveled to Dutungan Island and Paputo Beach for 2 days 1 night.

We gathered at the campus at 06.00 WITA as well as the tour leader doing the roll out and distribution of the ID card. After that at 07.00 we left the campus and headed to Dutungan Island.

Dutungan Island is in the village of Cilellang. The location is close to the border between Barru Regency and Pare-pare City. To get here, Friend Traveler must board a boat from Tanjung Indah Pier. The journey is quite short, only takes 10 minutes or even less.

Arriving at the dutungan island we were given directions to go to the pier and there was already a boat waiting to take us to the dutungan island which we were waiting for. A few minutes later we arrived at dutungan Island, there we were welcomed by several very friendly guides. Then the tour leader gave directions to immediately change clothes and head to the seafront to hear the directions, procedures and rules for doing the main activities namely diving and snorkeling.

Because this is my first experience so I chose to do snorkeling activities first in order to train my breathing to do diving. When snorkeling I was panicked because I tried to dive and at that time I was surprised because my breathing aids were entered by my water too trying to rise to the surface of the water and rearrange my breathing.

After my breath returned to normal I went down to continue snorkeling and it turns out that when we do according to the direction of the guide we can enjoy the beauty of the sea such as rocks, fish and other marine biota and it makes me amazed.

After I do snorkeling I continue the second activity namely Diving. This activity is more difficult than the previous activity because we have to use special tools to avoid fatal errors when diving diving. The tools used include Buoyancy Control Devices (BCD), Regulators, Masks, fins, snorkels, ballast, and scuba tanks. After all the tools were attached to my body, I started diving and accompanied by one of my guides diving with a depth of 9 meters below sea level for 11 minutes. But when I was at a depth of 9 meters my ears buzzed very loudly and it made me panic and member code to the guide by moving my hand to immediately return to the surface of the sea, there I feel sad because the guide's time is also up, even though the beauty that is under the sea really makes me very amazed because its beauty is so perfect and natural.

The time showed 5 pm and we immediately died from the island of dutungan and immediately rushed to the pomegranate hotel in the city of pare-pare.

The second day we woke up to go to the habibi statue and Ainun to take pictures.

And then we continue our journey with the tourist attraction of Paputo beach. Paputo beach is one of the beautiful and famous beaches in the city of Pare Pare.

Paputo beach has many photo spots that can enhance your social media. Besides that, on the beach of Paputo, it can also be used as a place of recreation both with girlfriends, family, husband and friends.

If you are happy with the atmosphere of the beach or even if you want to enjoy a clean white sand beach like Kuta Beach in Bali, one of the new places that should be on your visit list is the Pasir Putih Tonrangeng Beach (PAPUTO) located in the Lumpue sub-district, Pare-pare , South Sulawesi.

And our closing activity is that we do lunch activities in the village terrace of the city of Pare-Pare.

There we eat on ponds and the wind is so delicius. In this pont also has a very interesting photo spot.

Okeyyyyy until here my journey with my friends thank you for reading my blog until it runs out, Sorry if there are words that are wrong hopefully the contents of my blog can be useful for those of you who read it. See you on the next blog.
